Take the best picture of Lake City on its biggest day of the year and win a $50 prize! This year’s Pioneer Days includes a photo contest for all you shutterbugs out there. Categories are:
- People – Anywhere, any time on August 4
- History – Images that show connections to the past
- Laughter - Candid expressions of joy caught on camera!
To Register: On August 4, you can register at the Chamber Booth on 125th, in front of Bank of America between 10 AM and 5 PM. You’ll be asked for your name and email address and $5 to help cover the contest costs.

Pioneer Days Kids Parade
August 4th, 6:00pm
Remember to get those Kiddie Parade costumes ready! All kids 15 and under are welcome. Come as a group or come as one. Trophies awarded for the best costumes and/or theme entered. Everyone gets a prize just for entering. No pre-registration – just assemble at 5pm at the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot (corner of 130th & Lake City Way).
