Back in May, the Lake City community participated in a visioning workshop with Marty Curry and her team of UW architecture and urban planning students regarding the Pierre Properties.
A summary of that work – The Lake City Workshop Report – is now available. This set of design concepts includes community work at that Visioning Workshop, as well as input gathered at meetings with several different community organizations. UW interns also included some of their own analysis and ideas. This report is intended as a starting point for further discussions on a vision for the Lake City Way corridor, community, and work with the Pierre family.
Marty Curry will present an overview of this report at the Lake City Community Council meeting this Thursday, July 19th. Please plan to attend if you’d like to provide feedback and ideas regarding next steps.
